ASSISTANT BREWMASTER

Job type: Contract - 15-30 hours/week
Salary: $15/hour + (Increased pay with training and earning of forklift license.)

Description:

Mortal Kombucha is looking for an assistant brewmaster to oversee and aid in the production of our effervescent probiotic product.

The assistant brewer will be responsible for the following: brewing, bottling, packaging, batch-control, inventory, logging, cleaning, trouble-shooting and more. This job requires a detail oriented person who can handle heavy lifting, and sticky situations (literally).

Right now this job runs 15-30 hours a week. Extra hours can be added with more responsibilities like deliveries and events. For deliveries, a company car will be provided.

Compensation:
You will be paid bi-weekly via check based on hours and tasks completed.

Requirements:

  • Kitchen/Manufacturing experience not required, but encouraged—you will be trained upon hiring!

  • Experience in Wholesale Manufacturing or Brewing a bonus!

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

  • Forklift experience is a bonus. Training can be completed.

  • Excellent multi-tasking skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Brewing experience a plus.

DELIVERY DRIVER

Job type: Contract
Hourly + Bonuses: 15/hour

Description:

Mortal Kombucha is looking for help delivering kegs and cases of kombucha to our retail partners. Deliveries are needed to the following locations: Denver, Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Nederland, Fort Collins, Loveland, Colorado Springs.

Deliveries happen weekly on Wednesdays or Thursdays - depending on what’s convenient for the driver. Delivery times are somewhat flexible depending on the driver's existing schedule, but most stores receiving hours end before 1PM. We will work with your schedule when possible.

Product is stored in our Longmont, CO warehouse and must be picked up from that location. In addition to deliveries, driver is responsible for collecting empty kegs and dropping them off to be cleaned. Delivery driver may also be responsible for learning how the kegs work so they can assist our retail partners.

Typical weekly delivery route takes approximately 4-5 hours, with loading, dropping off kegs included.

You will be provided a company dolly and, if needed, a company vehicle for your use and to use for deliveries.
All documented parking expenses will be reimbursed and included in your pay.

 Compensation:

Compensation is hourly, however deliveries to Colorado Springs include extra bonus for distance.

You will be paid bi-weekly upon submission of an invoice.
Please provide a reliable mailing address where you can receive your payment in the event that a check can’t be handed off in person.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 65 pounds. Kegs weigh approximately 50-60 pounds and require a dolly for moving.

  • Must have reliable transportation that is able to fit kegs, otherwise a company vehicle will be provided.

  • Love of kombucha a plus.

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

KITCHEN ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

Salary: $13.75/hour

Description:

Mortal Kombucha is looking for eager individuals to help make booch. We are looking for assistance in the following shifts. Ideal candidates can work both shifts.

  • Tuesdays, 7AM-3PM

  • Saturdays, 9AM-5PM

Working in at our HQ can include brewing, bottling, packaging, batch-control, inventory, logging, cleaning, trouble-shooting and more.
